Read the opportunity
The development concept had to reconcile a large operating program with a visible neighborhood setting. Building placement, vehicle circulation, customer access, landscape, and street presence were considered together so the facility could function efficiently without reading as an isolated utility building.
The design strategy concentrates the customer-facing elements at a clearly identifiable corner while using disciplined massing and material transitions to organize the longer elevations. That approach gives the project a strong public identity while preserving the efficiency of the storage program behind it.
