The Colorado market entry depended on more than opening restaurants. It required a regional operating base capable of supporting food production, distribution, quality control, and long-term growth. The project therefore carried enterprise-level schedule and operational significance from the outset.
Risk and optionality
Development planning had to align a specialized industrial program with land use approvals, utilities, cold-chain requirements, life-safety systems, site circulation, and the demands of a new climate and construction market. Early coordination translated those interdependent constraints into a buildable capital plan.

Execution brought together entitlement, design, procurement, construction, equipment interfaces, and operational readiness. Maintaining continuity across those workstreams reduced the risk of late conflicts and kept the facility’s opening path connected to the broader Colorado rollout.
